About me
There is a ~little~ more to me than the coffee-obsessed, pizza addict, stationery lover that was described up top. At least I think there is... Let’s start this story back in college, where I was “planning” my future!

I started undergrad pursuing ceramics — wild, right? I was your classic artist with a dream: a dream to create & build things with my hands and make a living from doing it. After about a year in ceramics (which I still LOVE, by the way), I realized something important: my creativity wasn’t limited to just one medium. Ceramics gave me the confidence to know that whatever challenge or tool I was handed, I could figure it out.

As I sat there unsure of what my next steps would be, I knew one thing for certain: my art career was nowhere near over. I met with professors and counselors, exploring every possible path, and the same answer kept popping up in every conversation — graphic design.

Now, here’s the thing: I wasn’t a “computer guy.” In fact, I was pretty repelled by the idea. But that’s just not me to back down from something unfamiliar. If there’s a way to learn it or solve it, I’ll sure do my best to get it done.
So, after a little stubborn persistence (the good kind), I signed up for ART 226: Graphic Design I.

Now let me paint you a picture:
I walk into a dimly lit classroom, the glow of computer screens lighting up the room. Conversations swirl about 'hard drives, software, gigabytes'… and I’m completely lost.
I find a seat in the back, class starts, and our first project is assigned: a poster honoring someone special in your life.

Pressure is on.
Who do I pick? How do I design this? Do I use color? Pictures?
Welcome to Graphic Design, Nick.

To this day, I am still unsure on how, but I figured it out. My teacher, one of my favorite humans to this day, checked in on me constantly (probably because I had NO idea what I was doing). But with each visit, she reassured me and encouraged me to keep going. That first project, paired with her guidance, was all it took.
I was hooked. I loved it.
And I still do.

With most days of my days spent at a computer, it doesn’t feel like it.
I’m still creating. I’m still working with my hands. I’m still doing what I love.

THE BEST PART:
Design doesn’t stop at the computer; it goes to print.
That’s where my love really grew — and that’s where OrgaNick Design Co. was born.

For me, paper isn’t just a surface — it carries meaning and intention.
It carries stories, celebrates milestones, preserves tangible expression & creates connections that matter most. That’s why I do this work, and why I love it so much!

I am the one behind OrgaNick Design Co. — this stationery store!
